Neymar makes Brazilian football history with the momentous transfer back to Santos, unretiring Pele’s iconic number 10 shirt on his return, with fans now able to bid on his shirt back in Brazil.

After nearly 12 years away from Brazil, Neymar, the world’s most expensive footballer, has returned back to his boyhood club in a true full-circle moment.

Fans and collectors have the unique opportunity to own a piece of Neymar and Brazilian history, as his match-issued and signed shirt on his return to Santos is now available to bid on via MatchWornShirt.com, the home of match-worn and signed sporting memorabilia.

When Pele passed away in 2023, Santos retired the iconic number 10 shirt worn by the three-time World Cup winner. Now, with the so-called ‘heir to the throne’ back at the club in a ground-breaking transfer, Neymar dons the once-retired number 10 shirt, a number he has worn for the majority of his career.

During his first stint with the club, Neymar played in 225 matches, scoring 136 goals, and assisting 66 times. He also lifted three trophies, including a Copa Libertadores.
