Produced using our unrivalled 27 years of experience as the leading global organisation in the football business and our extensive network of partners and supporters, this September, Soccerex launches Soccerex TV – Football business television.
The longer-term concept was born out of a more immediate necessity when our physical events were placed on hold due to COVID19 and we moved our conference into the virtual world.
After some initial concern that our business may not be able to replicate what it does best online, the results spoke for themselves, with over 6,000 registering to attend from over 100 countries across the three instalments of the “Soccerex Connected” series’, which attracted over 300 speakers, commercial support from around the globe and generated over 1.7m engagements on twitter.
Constructed with, by and for the executives that lead the beautiful game off the pitch, Soccerex TV is available on a dedicated football business Youtube channel, across social media and globally distributed via a network of media partners.
You can enjoy exclusive content including thought leadership interviews, debates, round table discussions, news, product launches and case studies. Topics will be wide ranging, and you will be entertained with a myriad of focused discussions, such as the operational and financial elements to football club efficiency, fan engagement, sponsorship, stadium management, training ground secrets of success, injury recovery and analytics to name a few.
With each episode ranging from 30-45 minutes in length, the format will be detailed but precise, ensuring that audience attention is gained and then kept, as we hear from the leaders within the sports industry on their areas of expertise.
We realise that it is one thing producing great content but ensuring that it is delivered to the desired audience is just as, if not more important, especially to our sponsors and commercial partners.
Over the last 27 years, we have developed an extensive network of media partners that regularly attend our events, share our social content, and produce articles and sound bites from the content that we produce.
These include magazines, websites, news outlets and TV channels from around the globe, with over 40 of them attending our most recent event in Miami in March of this year. The Soccerex Connected Trilogy
In March 2020 the whole world was affected by the COVID19 pandemic, and the events industry was turned upside down.
We had to find a way to move Soccerex into the digital space, whilst continuing to provide best in class content, thought leadership, networking, and business opportunities in the world of football, and fast.
There were several challenges to rise to, with a core focus on delivering the standard of event that our attendees over the last 25 years had become accustomed to, whilst providing a networking platform to ensure that the global football business community kept communicating, sharing knowledge, and introducing technology-based applications and services that were being rolled out in the games most troubling period in history.
In under 11 months, three Soccerex Connected events were delivered to over 6,500 attendees from 100+ Countries, who helped to generate over 1million social media impressions, whilst soaking up 60+ hours of content that featured over 300 speakers and exchanging 30,000+ messages.

In September 2020 we launched Soccerex Connected, the first in a series of global digital events that welcomed 2,000+ delegates from over 70 Countries and included leaders from the global football business community, legends of the game, broadcasters, clubs, and federations.
5,000 contacts were made, over 12,000 messages sent, 9,000 views and 250,000 social media impressions were generated during an action packed 5 days.
130 speakers contributed to over 22 hours of content and our post event survey suggested that 90% of the attendees were extremely satisfied, whilst 91% of our delegates said it was the best digital event they had attended. Some would say that sequels are better and that proved to be the case with our second offering in the Connected series, which also happened to be Soccerex’s 50th event in 25 years. More than 2,500 delegates attended from 106 Countries, they watched over 11,000 views, 6,500 contacts were made, 13,000 messages sent, and 400,000+ social media impressions were generated.

Soccerex Connected 100
After taking the digital event world by storm with the first two instalments of Soccerex Connected, innovation and domination were the buzzwords at Soccerex HQ as we planned a summer takeover of the football business landscape with a record breaking, never attempted, 100-day long event.
For ten weeks, 2,000+ industry professionals from 100+ Countries networked, watched content, got involved in competitions, took part in an online auction in association with Cure Leukaemia and pushed us beyond 1 million social impressions for the series!
Host Rob McAffrey held fireside chats with legends of the game including Sam Allardyce, Ronnie Whelan, Paul Walsh, Stilyan Petrov, Jens Lehman, Mick McCarthy, and leading football journalists including John Richardson and Henry Winter.
