The Convention Center has been a staple of the Miami Beach community since 1958 and has hosted historic events ranging from the World Heavyweight Boxing clash between Mohammed Ali vs Sonny Liston in 1964 to professional Wrestling and Basketball – – it has even played host to both the Republican and Democratic Political Party National Conventions over its 80-year history.

The Miami Beach Convention Center’s history of hosting sporting events and decision maker gatherings painted the arena as the perfect destination for Soccerex to make its triumphant return to in-person events.

Supported by major rights holders such as Concacaf, MLS and US Soccer, EDP, TUDN and LaLiga, Soccerex Americas expects to provide as many as 1500 delegates with the opprtunity to share insight, connect, and network with the hundreds of soccer professionals not only in the Americas but across the entire global football industry.

Attendees will hear from the industry’s finest, such as Javier Tebas (LaLiga President), Dr Erkut Sogut (Founding Partner of the Footballing Agent Institute and famous Player Agent) and Amanda Vandervort (USL Super League President) as well as several other notable individuals and organisations from the world of football!

Soccerex CEO Patrick McCreanor had the following to say about the announcement that the Miami Beach Convention Centre will be hosting Soccerex Americas:

“Already steeped in sporting history, the Miami Beach Convention Center is an astonishing venue, one in which we are proud to host Soccerex Americas 2022. Returning to physical events and reuniting the football industry has been something we have been looking forward to for some time and to hold it at this venue in Miami Beach will make it even more special.”
