The agreement will see the Blackpool based sports-tech firm continue provision of its StatZone and StadiumTV digital engagement platforms, which are installed at Premier League, Championship and SPFL stadia across the UK. StatZone and Stadium TV creates opportunities for the club’s commercial partners to reach audiences by offering innovative live, stat-driven, content that engages fans on matchday.
Matt Cairns, Managing Director of Eleven Sports Media, commented: “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Blackpool Football Club.
“We work in an exciting industry, providing commercially driven fan engagement technology to clubs like Celtic, Rangers, Leeds United, Newcastle United and the London Stadium, so it’s fantastic to be working with our local club to offer North West businesses those same kind of partnership opportunities.”
He continued: “Whilst it is incredibly important for us to prioritise the experience of fans in the stadium we always strive to help businesses extend their message beyond the venue.
“Our powerful suite of digital tools helps members of Blackpool FC’s Business Partner Programme to do exactly that. In today’s climate, and with fans not yet in the stadium, it’s crucial that we’re able to help businesses reach their audience, wherever they are consuming the sport.”
Eleven launched its Business Partner Programme with Blackpool FC last season and, after an incredible response in which packages completely sold out, the programme has been reinvented to afford even more regional businesses an opportunity to take part.
The agreement will also see Eleven Sports Media sponsor Blackpool FC’s 2020/21 first team training kit. It follows last season’s successful partnership in which Eleven became the club’s official back of shirt sponsor.
Blackpool FC’s Linton Brown, commented: “We’re thrilled to have Eleven Sports Media as a partner of Blackpool Football Club. It is incredibly exciting for us to be able to offer fans and local businesses access to the same kind of innovative technology as clubs in the Premier League and other top divisions.”
“We’re a club with huge ambitions so it is important to us that we choose the right partners to help us grow. Working with Eleven creates an opportunity for us to strengthen our commercial offering, whilst bringing dynamic, engaging, content to our fans.”
Blackpool FC’s Business Partner Programme, which gets underway at the start of the new season, offers a broad range of benefits to members, including TV camera facing branding, access to events and hospitality, official affiliation with the club and PR support from Eleven Sports Media.
