The news broke a few hours ago via the 29-year-old forward’s Instagram. In a post, Heung-min noted, “Being an athlete from the Premier League, it’s my honour to partner with a brand so rich in British heritage. I love Burberry’s strive for imagination and innovation which has been deeply inherited in its history, which are values that I champion.”

Burberry is no stranger to linking up with football stars, as the brand previously tapped Marcus Rashford in a campaign to support UK-based youth programmes.

Son will now join the likes of Jack Grealish for Gucci and Kylian Mbappé for Dior in a similar ambassador role where we will lend his image and likeliness to the brand for promotional work off the field.
