A highlight show, lasting approximately 160 minutes and broadcast each week, will include a full delayed broadcast of the Men’s First Team’s most recent fixtures from the English Premier League, UEFA Europa Conference League, FA Cup, or EFL Cup with pre and post-match analysis, manager and player interviews and behind-the-scenes features.
The show will also regularly feature highlights of the most recent Tottenham Hotspur Women matches, as well as classic matches from the club’s archive, and will be aired every Wednesday at 11pm (Korean time) on skySports.
Junho Lee, Head of Programming, skySports, said: “Tottenham Hotspur’s weekly show, including full coverage of each of its Men’s First Team’s matches, will capture the attention of the Korean football fans. We also plan to launch a skySports-branded VOD channel in the near future, and that will allow more viewers to enjoy Tottenham Hotspur content and other sports content whenever they want.”
Aidan Mullally, Head of Business Development at Tottenham Hotspur, added: “We are pleased to bring skySports on board as a media partner in South Korea. skySports has quickly built a great reputation for broadcasting world-class soccer and we are delighted that Tottenham Hotspur is now part of that coverage.
“We have an incredible following in South Korea and we hope this partnership can further strengthen our relationship with our fans there.”
The club is currently the most watched and best-supported overseas soccer team in Korea and is home to Men’s and Women’s national team players Heung-min Son and So-hyun Cho.
