Xavi and Iniesta, Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, Ronaldo and Rivaldo, Baresi and Costacurta, Henry and Bergkamp, Puyol and Pique, Garrincha and Pele, Rush and Dalglish, Butragueno and Sanchez, Hulk and Falcao, Salas and Zamorano, Moore and Charlton.
There is a long list of successful duos in football, the beautiful game is made even better with an outstanding pair at the back, or deadly strike force double act and it would be remiss of us not to acknowledge the legendary league and cup double – there are not many better twosomes than that!
With this in mind, we are delighted to be able to announce not one, but a pair of Soccerex events for 2023, starting with the leading brand in the football business industry returning to Rio in May 2023, followed by a return to Miami in November.
Following the success of our most recent outing in Miami Beach during March this year, when we welcomed over 2,000 delegates and 650+ professional football clubs from around the world, the planning is well underway for Soccerex to return to what many believe to be the spiritual home of football, when we host a gathering of the leading figures in world soccer at the fantastic Marina D’Gloria for Soccerex Rio, just a long throw-in from the Copacabana beach, on the 15th and 16th May, alongside our event delivery partners Dream Factory.
To complete the double, on November 14th and 15th we will be welcoming football industry professionals from around the globe to the wonderful Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami, for what will be the 4th time we have hosted in Soccerex’s adopted home, the booming global sports hub that is the Magic City.
At each event, you can expect to see two full days of discussion and debate, enjoy unrivalled networking opportunities, meet legends of the game and if you have enough left in the tank after all of that, enjoy unparalleled nightlife in two of the most vibrant Cities on the planet.
Soccerex CEO Patrick McCreanor said “We are extremely excited at the prospect of hosting two large scale events next year in Rio and Miami. Going back to Rio in May, home of the undoubtably the greatest international team in history and arguably the greatest player of all time, is something the entire Soccerex team are looking forward to working with our partners Dream Factory on.
Our event in Miami this past March exceeded even our own high expectations and with the football market stateside ever growing, we envisage Soccerex Miami 2023 to be even better. During a World Cup year, when the beautiful game brings Countries from around the world together, we will be ensuring that we play our part, as we have done for over 26 years, in keeping football connected”
Duda Magalhaes, CEO of Dream Factory commented, “Brazilian football has been professionalizing, with clubs becoming SAF’s, new investors entering the market and discussions are taking place about league formations and other governance related issues are being addressed.
All of this makes Soccerex, the world’s largest and leading conference on the business of football, a necessity for players in the sport to meet, exchange experiences and do business. The world of football see’s itself in Rio in 2023!”
