  • Sobha Realty, Principal Partner of Arsenal FC, hosted two-day experience giving attendees the chance to play like a professional
  • Attendees included some of the biggest UK content creators, Dubai property brokers and renowned Arsenal fans
  • Experience involved 11-aside match at the Emirates Stadium as well as an exclusive visit to Sobha Realty Training Centre

London, UK: Monday 17th June – Following the climax of a thrilling first season as Principal Partners of Arsenal FC, Sobha Realty hosted a ‘Play Like A Pro’ experience for a number of brand VIPs, UK content creators and Arsenal supporting legends.

Music engineer, Fumez The Engineer, content creators EmanSV2 and Andrew Henderson, as well as TV star Tyrique Hyde were amongst those in attendance, where guests were given the opportunity to arrive on the team bus, before playing on the hallowed Emirates turf, coached by Arsenal royalty; Tony Adams and Gilberto Silva. The game was a tense battle with Adams’ side ‘OG Gunners’ going 4-1 up, before a late comeback was mounted by Gilberto’s ‘Dubai Bling’ to end the match 4-4.

Musician, Fumez The Engineer, said “As an Arsenal fan it was unreal to be able to walk out of that tunnel. It has been a dream since I was a child to be able to do that and, just for a moment, it really felt like I’d made it pro. That’s all thanks to Sobha Realty.”

Fumez was managed at the pitch day by former Arsenal captain, Tony Adams, who said: “I loved being involved in the Sobha Realty pitch day, there was genuinely some real talent on show. I’m a bit aggrieved that Gilberto’s side managed to pull it back to 4-4, but that’s football!”

The experience, which was delivered in partnership with global marketing & management agency Blueprintx, rolled in to a second day at the state-of-the-art Sobha Realty Training Centre, previously known as Arsenal Training Ground, in London Colney, which saw players being given a nutritious breakfast to aid recovery, followed by a guided tour with Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour, who regaled tales of his years at Arsenal, and showed off the world class facilities to the guests.

Earlier this year, in a historic move, the Arsenal training ground was renamed as the Sobha Realty Training Centre, following a pioneering agreement with the Dubai-based real estate developer, marking the first instance of a training ground naming rights partnership. This transformative collaboration extends to a long-term vision, with Sobha Realty assuming the role of Principal Partner of Arsenal and the official training kit sleeve partner for both the men’s and women’s teams.

The partnership is designed to harness Sobha Realty’s exceptional proficiency in property development to identify and maximize development prospects at the club’s training ground, aligning with Arsenal’s commitment to cultivating excellence and providing an optimal environment for all players, coaches, and staff.

Ashish Parakh, Chief Marketing Officer of Sobha Realty said: “Our projects are a testament to an unwavering commitment to creating well-knit communities and incomparable experiences. Our partnership with Arsenal FC further reflects this commitment, which combines the dynamic worlds of real estate and professional sports. Through the ‘Play Like A Pro’ experience, we shared our passion for ensuring excellence with both Arsenal fans and our valued customer base while celebrating this remarkable synergy.”

The collaboration between Sobha Realty and Arsenal represents a significant stride in bridging the realms of real estate and sports, with a shared commitment to excellence and innovation.
