Gael Mahe, CEO, Sport Global Management, first attended Soccerex in 2006 in Dubai, his football agency firm are well established in Europe with a client list that includes the French Football Federation, Konami, Coca-Cola and a wide range of international football players. Through Account Manager introductions and industry focused networking sessions he met Rasthoem Simons, Managing Director of a South African based agency called Pro-Active Living Sports Agency.
Mahe commented:

In 2006 in Dubai we met a South African based agency managed by Rasthoem Simons and by Soccerex 2007 in South Africa we came to an agreement and Sport Global Management South Africa was born.

The South African branch of this global sports agency is based in Cape Town. The company focuses on Player and Coaches Management as well as marketing and promoting Southern African National Teams and Clubs abroad. This rapidly expanding company have secured training camp locations for International teams in South Africa and Botswana which will be in high demand ahead of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009, AFCON 2010 and FIFA World Cup 2010.
