As announced last year, Rakuten’s own NFT marketplace is launching on 25th February, with the ‘J League NFT Collection Players Anthem’ set to rollout on the platform in April.
The collection offered by Rakuten and the J League will include images and graphics of players, as well as video highlights from J League matches.
The J League NFT collection will comprise ‘authentic’ NFTs featuring famous moments from the game such as the best goal, while ‘culture rise’ tokens, which will be available exclusively on Rakuten NFT, will feature graphics with original art designs.
Fans will be able to purchase the digital collectibles using Rakuten ID, as well as Rakuten points, with the marketplace to allow trading between buyers.
