For WiZink the agreement signifies the bank’s commitment to the Portuguese market, where it is a leader in the credit card segment and in which it wants to continue to grow and diversify its business to become the reference in digital consumer finance.
For Benfica, WiZink’s knowledge in the area of means of payment, especially in credit cards, will add value to the offer made available to its club members. WiZink joins the Benfica network of sponsors for five seasons, until 2026.
This is another step in the sponsorship strategy of the bank, already the main sponsor of the WiZink Center in Madrid, one of the most important multi-purpose venues in the world and a reference in the fields of sport, music and culture.
WiZink and Benfica are working together to launch a new loyalty card for club members and fans, which will soon be presented to the market. The new card will combine WiZink’s experience and know-how in co-branding partnerships with the club’s ambition to offer the best loyalty program, with exclusive advantages and benefits for Benfica members and fans.
The new credit card will be a very competitive proposition in the Portuguese market, and one that will complement the current offering of more than 650 brands partnering within the Benfica loyalty card.
