The exclusive event was attended by a host of dignitaries and industry leaders, including Jason Roberts, ex-Premier League footballer and Director of Development at CONCACAF; Mayor of Fort Lauderdale Dean Trantalis; Spencer Hidge, Founder of Premier Sports Network and representatives from the MLS, Chicago Fire, Miami Dolphins, New York Red Bulls, Toronto FC, Everton FC, Seattle Sounders and more.

This week also marks the commencement of the first intake of Msc Sports Directorship students learning on campus. The course is designed to equip sports professionals with the skills to develop and deliver the long-term success of sports organisation.

The event was a great chance for GIS students to embark upon their degree programmes, and for us all to reflect on this monumental partnership and what we have achieved.”
