RealFevr, a Portuguese startup specializing in fantasy football and boasting over 1.2 million registered users, is launching its second drop of exclusive NFTs on its marketplace today at 3pm BST. This follows the stellar success of its inaugural drop, where RealFevr generated close to $1.5 million in sales in less than 27 hours.
The highlight of RealFevr’s second NFT drop will be Cristiano Ronaldo. The Unique NFT of this release will be the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s first senior goal for Sporting Clube de Portugal, scored in the Portuguese League on the 7th of October, 2002, when he was 17 years old.
His current Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes, who is also RealFevr’s NFT launch ambassador, said the following about Cristiano’s first ever goal: “Having the possibility to go back in time and see Cristiano at Sporting CP is indeed a fantastic experience – both for Cristiano’s fans and for fans of Sporting CP. For me, as a footballer, it’s also very good to have the chance to relive these moments. We can always learn something from the past.” Bruno also praised Ronaldo’s professional growth, stating: “This is also an opportunity for children to see what they need to do to succeed at the highest level: to work hard. Without a doubt, Cristiano is the reason why, in the last 15 years, children in Portugal have understood what it is to work hard and fight for their dreams.”
This second drop, that started today on September 30th at 3pm BST, will also feature several stars making their RealFevr NFT debut, including João Félix, Éder Militão, Cédric Soares and Simão Sabrosa.
Those who want to collect these official football videos should head to www.realfevr.com and buy one of three available packs: Basic, Rare and Super Rare. Within each pack, there are collectibles of five varying categories (based on rarity): Common (1:5000), Special (1:2500), Epic (1:500), Legendary (1:50) and Unique (1:1).
As the Unique name suggests, there is only one Cristiano Ronaldo NFT in the entire market. The packs can only be purchased by using $FEVR, the official cryptocurrency created by the Portuguese startup. By buying packs, users are not strictly limited to collecting NFTs – they also have the opportunity to profit from them, as the RealFevr Marketplace allows users to sell their moments to others.
RealFevr’s NFTs were created using the Binance Smart Chain blockchain due to its simplicity and easy integration with other protocols, as well as its extremely cheap transaction fees when compared to the Ethereum network. About RealFevr
