Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship to make history with main stadia fixtures

Fans across the Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship will officially be a part of history over the weekend of November 16 and 17, 2024.

For the first time in the leagues’ existence, each game will be taking place at every home side’s respective main stadia – the only time this has been the case for all eleven fixtures of a match weekend across the two divisions.

On Saturday 16 November, the Women’s Professional Game, in collaboration with Baller FC, will be hosting Ground-Hop Day, encouraging fans to attend the North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (1.45pm KO), before travelling to Stamford Bridge for Chelsea against Manchester City (5.30pm KO).

Fifty free tickets will be up for grabs for both fixtures as part of a one-of-a-kind exclusive fan event, with more information available HERE.

Finally, the weekend will also see clubs across the leagues mark Stonewall’s annual Rainbow Laces campaign which aims to celebrate and show support for LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport.

From corner flags and captain’s armbands to the rainbow laces themselves set to feature across the weekend’s games, this year’s celebration is centred on Stonewall’s Hold My Hand campaign which has the objective of ensuring that everybody feels safe to live their life freely.
