Manchester United’s (Red)-branded match worn shirts to be made available at MatchWornShirt.com, raising funds for the global health fight
One-of-a-kind match-worn (RED) shirts from the Manchester United match day squads will be available for fans to get their hands on
London, 8 May – On May 10th & 11th, (RED) will appear on the front of the iconic Manchester United shirt during the Manchester United vs Arsenal women’s team match on May 10, and Manchester United vs West Ham men’s team match on May 11. Thanks to a special collaboration between (RED) and MatchWornShirt, fans and collectors from around the world will be able to bid on the one-of-a-kind player worn shirts at MatchWornShirt.com.
Net proceeds from the auction will go to support the fight health injustice and provide life-saving programmes in vulnerable communities. Founded by Bono & Bobby Shriver, (RED) partners with the world’s most iconic brands and people to raise money, heat, and urgency for global health crises. To date, (RED) has generated more than $785 million for the Global Fund, helping 320 million people.
As part of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.’s front-of-shirt sponsorship with Manchester United, featuring its Snapdragon® brand, the company nominated (RED) to replace the Snapdragon logo on the front of the Manchester United shirt for women’s team fixture against Arsenal on May 10th, and men’s team fixture against West Ham on May 11th.
